LUXURY car manufactures have had a recent influx into the fragrance market, working with top perfumers to create scents as an extension of their aspirational brand identities. Last week, Glass reviewed Jaguar’s Pace – this week, we take a look at Bentley’s newest offering for 2016, Infinite Rush. And while Pace was a scent for the night, Infinite Rush is a sun-baked scent for the day.
But first, the bottle. Sleek stainless steel curves from the classically robust cap into a flask-like bottle, echoing the curves of a Bentley itself. A specially designed cracked glass body symbolises “untamed nature and the arid earth that the Infinite Rush adventurer will travel across on his exploits”.
Infinite Rush
Because of the unique crackling varnish used in the creation process, no two bottles of Infinite Rush are ever the same. With fruity top notes complimented by a deep, woody base, it’s an invigorating take on the Bentley experience.
For lovers of Tom Ford Grey Vetiver this is a slightly less musky alternative that provides the familiar hit of citrus. What sets Infinite Rush apart from other vetiver based scents is its ability to maintain sweetness without compromising on its masculinity – it’s soft enough not to overpower the wearer, but its strength is evident on the skin. For the Bentley man, this is the perfect companion.
