WE USED to have an expression in Liverpool for being miserly, and it was, “She could peel and orange in her pocket.” Well, this is me when I whip out the comforting and always reliable Dr. Hauschka’s hand cream. This is a light, smooth emollient that rapidly absorbs and makes hands feel immediately smoother and softer. The scent is discernible without being overpowering and a little goes a long way, so you can go right up your wrists (as you should do for washing) and in-between the fingers. It also can act as a hand mask, if you apply it more generously at night and let it work its emollient magic.
