SELFRIDGES has just produced a short film that explores the individual viewpoints of what luxury is to three artists from different fields. Directed by Kathryn Ferguson, The Greatest Luxury was commissioned by Selfridges’ own broadcasting platform, Hot Air, as part of the brand’s Radical Luxury campaign. The short film includes performance artist, rapper and activist Mykki Blanco, British fashion designer, Gareth Pugh and choreographer, director and artist, Holly Blakey discussing what luxury means to them. The Greatest Luxury is a blend of interviews, poetry written and performed by Lily Ashley, dance by Sophia Apollonia and beautiful visuals. It is a latest instalment of an engaging and thought-provoking series of films Hot Air has produced over the last couple of years.
