AS MANY festival-goers finish their first week back to work since Glastonbury 2025 – perhaps with a slight headache – the realisation that we have another two years before the next one is finally sinking in. Before 2025’s offering fades into memory, here are some of the highlights and iconic moments from the weekend just gone.

Opening Fireworks, Glastonbury 2025
Glastonbury 2025 carried an extra weight. It was the last dance before the festival takes its traditional fallow year. That meant every moment felt bigger, brighter, and more urgent. Artists brought their A-game, crowds stayed out later, and even the small surprises felt like part of something special.

The Prodigy, Glastonbury 2025

The Prodigy, Glastonbury 2025
The Prodigy Perform a Fiery Yet Emotional Set
Glastonbury and The Prodigy have a long history together, with them being the first dance music act to headline in 1997. This year’s headline was an emotional performance. They were previously booked for the same slot in 2019 before having to pull out due to the passing of Keith Flint. But, through smoke and neon lasers, the crowds gathered to see The Prodigy in the fields of Glastonbury once more.
Playing all of their classic tunes like Breathe and No Good alighted delirium and raving in the crowd, but none were as memorable as the band’s sentimental tribute to Flint through their re-edition of Firestarter. When this version played, the deranged lyricism of Keith had been cut. Maxim stood silently out front with his hands raised, allowing the memory of Keith to take centre stage and claim what was truly his.

Busta Rhymes, Glastonbury 2025
Hip-Hop Icons Busta Rhymes and hype man Spliff Star Bring the Party Back
An unexpected highlight of the weekend had been 1990s hip-hop star Busta Rhymes, pulling in a huge crowd to the Other Stage. Busta Rhymes and his hype-man Spliff Star brought full energy. There was even a surprising wardrobe change from an all-black look with a massive silver chain into a coordinating red and white set with the rapper and his hype man.
Playing iconic bangers like Break Ya Neck, and rapping his verses in the Pussycat Dolls’ Don’t Cha and even Queen’s We Are The Champions, Busta Rhymes delivered an incredible and fun performance that drew in a large, fun-loving and nostalgia-filled crowd.
Skepta, Glastonbury 2025
Skepta’s Last Minute Step Up
After previously playing a DJ set alongside Mochakk at The Glade the night before, Skepta took the opportunity to perform following a dropout from alt-rock band Deftones. With only a 30-minute set time, no production, just a microphone and some background visuals, Skepta pulled off one of the best performances at Glastonbury.
The grime legend played through old hits to new, from It Ain’t Safe to Victory Lap with Fred Again. The focus on just his voice and good vibes from him and the crowd created a phenomenal atmosphere that felt like a warm-up for his inevitable headline moment.

Lorde, Glastonbury 2025
Lorde Lights Up the Morning with Secret Set
Another surprise set came from New Zealand star Lorde. In the early hours of the morning for festival goers — 11 a.m. for everyone else — she took to the smaller Woodsies stage. She performed her highly anticipated album Virgin, which had dropped only hours earlier.
Charli XCX, Glastonbury 2025
Charli XCX Cements Her Stardom with Unstoppable Set
As we remember the iconic Brat summer, Charli XCX summarised her massive success with a solo performance that could be the finale of the phenomenon. Wearing high-knee boots and black leather micro shorts, Charli appeared on stage in front of the usual green Brat flag — now worn down, shredded and torn. Holding the eyes of over 60,000 people, she captivated them with album icons like Club Classics and Everything Is Romantic. During the set, the Brat flag went up in flames, burning as Charli danced onwards, in a powerful display of superstardom and the conclusion of Brat summer.
Fireball Sessions Stage Makes Movements
Marking 40 years since its origins, Carhenge returned for with Fireball Sessions, a live music series curated by drummer and musical director MckNasty (Joshua McKenzie). It sparked spontaneous and collaborative performances that highlighted Black music, filled with passion and fire – literally. Performing on a stage that drove around Carhenge in circles with flames shooting out of each corner, it was an indescribable and unmatched display of the incredible talent you can stumble on.

Charli XCX at Lady Shacka, Glastonbury 2025
Stand out moment: Charli XCX Out in the wild
Another standout moment was when our senior fashion editor Lily saw Charli XCX dancing and grooving beside her to Lady Shaka. No matter she’s if she’s on stage, or down in the crowd with us mere mortals she is, forever, the ultimate party girl.

Ezra Collective, Glastonbury 2025

The crowd was fully locked in, moving with every beat. They also surprised fans by bringing out some special guests, including a powerful appearance from Loyle Carner, turning the set into a full-on celebration of UK jazz, hip-hop, and community.

Notting Hill Carnival Procession, Glastonbury 2025

Nile Rodgers & Chic, Glastonbury 2025
Nile Rodgers & Chic bring positive vibes with feel-good funk
As Nile Rodgers & Chic powered through a hot and beautiful day, paying music with passionate funk, to get up power on through the last night. The positivity of the set was figuratively manifested a plane drew a giant smiley face in the clear blue sky.

Groove Armada, Glastonbury 2025
Dancing the Night Away with Groove Armada
At the iconic Arcadia stage, those who wanted to dance were treated to the brilliant Groove Armada b2b Jungle set. It couldn’t have been a better place to hear Superstylin’, as the large dragonfly structure poured out incredible lights late into the night.

Doechii, Glastonbury 2025
Doechii and Dancers Bring Serious Energy
Doechii lit up the stage at Glastonbury with a fierce, high-energy performance. Her dancers were incredible, matching her intensity with every move. After her set, she reportedly jumped into a car and made it just in time to catch the last 15 minutes of Charli XCX’s headline show — a great moment of female artists showing up for each other

Olivia Dean, Glastonbury 2025
Olivia Dean Drops Surprise Set
Over at Strummerville, Olivia Dean played a secret set that quickly became one of the weekend’s hidden highlights. Word spread fast, and fans were seen running through stinging nettles and over rough ground just to make it there in time. The effort was worth it — her stripped-back performance was soulful and intimate, and felt like a special moment only Glastonbury can offer.
