Pocket chains and low lighting, sunglasses and post-coital hairstyles, a bit of a boot cut and a little bit of leather. All things not too far off for the usual John Varvatos, rocker-chic style. The pocket squares and bowties played nice contrast to the rock star, grunge-inspiration in the form of Varvatos’ rule-breaking three-piece suits.
Varvatos played on the three-piece, in one look deconstructing it and pairing a tailored vest with a printed ombre button-up for a sort of mystical, Hendrix-like ethereal feel.
Notably, Varvatos included military-inspired braid-clasped jackets. They were hyper-masculine, as is customary with his looks, but were a refreshing harkening back to the rebellious war men of generations even prior to the 60s and 70s.
