National Margarita Day: Classic Goya Tequila Margarita Recipe

SPICE up your Sunday and enjoy a classic tequila tipple thanks to Margarita Day on the 22nd of February. While the exact origin story remains debated, most accounts place the margarita’s beginnings between Mexico and the US in the 1930s or 1940s, where it evolved from the classic tequila sour into the citrus-y cocktail we love today.

Simple, sharp and dangerously drinkable, the margarita is all about balance tequila, orange liqueur and lime flavours. For this version, the tequila spotlight is on Goya tequila, that brings bright agave notes.
