AMERICAN designer Thom Browne has reinterpreted the iconic ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 with luxury materials and tailored detailing, creating a hybrid sneaker that merges practicality and high fashion.
The design retains the Gel-Kayano’s classic silhouette while introducing real suede on grey and black versions, smooth leather on white and signature piping accents that nod to Browne’s heritage tailoring.

Optional catch-laces, featuring red, white and blue grosgrain on the white and black sneakers and tonal grosgrain on grey, reference medals Browne himself won as a varsity swimmer and long-distance runner. Two sets of laces – one metal-tipped and one two-toned – highlight both functionality and craftsmanship, adding texture and bespoke detail. Inside, updated insoles feature dual Thom Browne and ASICS branding, alongside signature university-style striping.
