As if we weren’t feeling sufficiently festive enough at the moment, Glass was all agog when we received three special edition candles from our favourite perfume house Maison Francis Kurkdjian. The trio emit a scent of gingerbread and iris – a softer more delicate alternative to the many brasher Christmas candles which make us feel like we’ve been hit over the head with a giant fig.
Yet, this scent is still so wonderfully wintery it makes us want to hop in a horse-drawn carriage and take a ride through the snow, with Aled Jones warbling in the background. Each frosted glass bears delicate gold illustrations of various Parisian monuments, making them a dashing addition to any dressing table or mantelpiece too.
