Harrison Ford introduces Glenmorangie as the Official Whisky of Formula 1

“NICE,” is all Harrison Ford says in Glenmorangie’s new short film, but in his dry delivery, that’s all he needs to say, as it marks the start of a new partnership between the Highland single malt and Formula 1.

To celebrate the partnership, Glenmorangie will be trackside at the F1 Qatar Airways British Grand Prix 2025 at Silverstone, inviting racegoers to enjoy Glenmorangie cocktails and there will be a unique photo experience inspired by Ford’s brand film featuring the exclusive Eagle Speedster Jaguar E-Type.

On the collaboration, Caspar MacRae, President and CEO of Glenmorangie, says: “We share with F1 a great pride in our heritage and an unstoppable desire to reach new heights of excellence. We look forward to spectacular performances and imaginative serves and hope our collaboration will inspire and excite racegoers throughout Formula 1’s 75th anniversary year – and beyond.”

Part of a wider 10-year deal between F1 and LVMH, Glenmorangie’s parent company, it also means that we’ll see more of Glenmorangie across the circuits with immersive experiences that nod to craftsmanship, character, and a clear commitment to alcohol-free driving, of course.

Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer at F1, stated: “As part of our 10-year deal with LVMH, we are delighted to welcome Glenmorangie from the Moët Hennessy Maisons collection as the Official Whisky of Formula 1.”

She continues, “We have both been mastering our craft for many years, and we share a commitment to refinement and perfection delivered over time. With our mutual respect for tradition, it is absolutely fitting that we are launching our collaboration at the Formula 1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone – the circuit that hosted our first race 75 years ago – and from there around the world for many years to come.”

The film is part of Glenmorangie’s Once Upon a Time in Scotland campaign, which first launched at the end of last year. Featuring Ford in a kilt, atop the Highlands, playing himself with wry humour aplenty, the campaign was widely praised for its wit, so we’ll wait and see what comes next.
