Bradley Cooper debuts as the new face of Louis Vuitton Tambour

LOUIS Vuitton’s Tambour wristwatch was first introduced to the world back in 2002. Assembled at La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton, in Switzerland, the wristwatch is undoubtedly a revolutionary piece.

Introducing new creative frontiers and thrilling the fans, they disrupted the conventions of traditional watchmaking design. Evolving throughout the decades, this year, they honour the 20-year anniversary and what can be a better way to celebrate the 3rd generation of the legendary timepiece than with an introduction of Bradley Cooper as the new ambassador?

The house is pleased to welcome the renowned actor and director’s first campaign debut as he has the privilege to flash in the Tambour Twenty model, “an extremely limited collector’s edition of the design”. The evocative campaign video was directed by Oscar-winning director Damien Chazelle and accompanied by a still photographed by Boo George. Inspired by a sense of “youthful optimism” and “dreams taking flight”, the campaign sends a powerful reminder of the groundbreaking innovation.

This year’s version of the watch reiterates defining characteristics of the earliest Tambour – including a deep, flared 41.5mm case, a brown sun-ray dial, yellow chronograph hands, and the engraved letters Louis Vuitton on either side of the case.

The indispensable fashion accessory also showcases luxury components such as the LV277 high-frequency automatic chronograph movement; a 22-carat oscillating weight; a custom-made trunk in Monogram canvas, and a uniquely engraved case back – which indicates the limited edition of 200 pieces.

The Tambour Twenty is water-resistant, portable, and fun, while its fully customisable technology, remains the authentic nature of Maison’s principles.
