Burberry introduce its Year of the Rabbit 2023 campaign

TAPPING into the house’s spirit of adventure, Burberry reveals its Year of the Rabbit 2023 campaign with a celebration into the unknown.

Starring actors Qi Xi, Shi Pengyuan and sportswoman Zhao Lina, all captured by video director Zika Liu and photographer Sky, the campaign explores each individual on a journey through a triptych of films. Each open space portrays the chance for a unique perspective and the opportunity to find wonder in confidence, passion, and creativity.

The exclusive collection features the Thomas Burberry Monogram in a playful twist as the iconic emblem is redesigned with rabbit ears. This key motif travels throughout the collection on an array of womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, and accessory items.

To play into this notion further – quite literally – cartoon-inspired iterations are carried across the garments, some positioned back-to-back so that the ears meet in the form of a heart shape, and others sit above the Burberry logo.

A select couple from across all collections that we are most looking forward to is a tactile fleece backpack embossed with comical 3D rabbit ears, a mini take on the Freya tote in red canvas with black topstitched leather and the Burberry logo, an intarsia sweater with the year’s celebrated motif, and a Classic Cashmere scarf in dark birch brown Burberry Check, embroidered with the Thomas Burberry Monogram and rabbit ears.

Safe to say Burberry is kicking off 2023 with a bang and we look forward to see what else comes from the brand later this year.
