THE limitless adventure of Burberry’s TB Summer Monogram enters a new chapter as landscapes are transformed to celebrate the brand’s Thomas Burberry Monogram. The warmer season brings with it new colour-ways and reimagining the classic pieces across men’s and womenswear in lighter weight fabrics.

The campaign is inspired by the British fashion house’s longstanding heritage of exploration and nature, bringing the two together once again. Utilising technology, the journey to not only rediscover the monogram but also landscapes across the globe, showcasing the beauty of both.

Beginning the journey in Colorado’s Taylor Park Reservoir during the night, drones light up the midnight sky as they come together to create the TB motif. Reminiscent of fireflies, the flickers of bright light change colour three times to represent the summer aesthetic.
Graham Hill, the Drone Show Producer described the reasoning behind the first part of the campaign, “There’s something deep in our consciousness that connects us all when we look to the sky and just wonder.”

Flying across the landscape of Boao and Wanning in China’s Hainan Province, kite surfers float between the breezy sky and waves as the TB Summer Monogram blends in with the nature surrounding it.
Wang Lijie, one of the kite surfers says, “My life at this moment is that if I am not on the sea, I must be nearby the sea, waiting for the wind to come. Unloading pressure in the cities and jumping into the sea and embracing nature.”

“This place is very special,” explains Zong Ronglu, a Paramotor Pilot. “You minds feels so open flying here. Even when you have some troubles and worries, you will leave it all behind and you only have joy in your heart once you are in the sky.”

The final destination of the Burberry campaign arrives back on the shores of Newgale Beach in South Wales. Land artist Jon Foreman used rocks and stones to decorate the sand and transform the coastline landscape into the TB pattern.
“There’s definitely a respect for the landscape because we’re using materials that are there ready to be used,” states Foreman. “We’re not bringing in anything. We’re working with what is there.”
