Canada Goose reunites with BAPE for second collaboration

CANADA GOOSE has recently announced their second collaboration with the Japanese streetwear brand BAPE.

The collaboration sees some of Canada Goose’s iconic pieces, such as the Crofton Puffer and Freestyle Vest, reimagined with BAPE’s ABC CAMO motif.

Limited edition collectable figurines will also be available from Spring next year as part of the collection, embellished with prints relevant to the collaboration. The collectables will be in partnership with Bearbrick and are a celebration of Bape’s thirty-year establishment.

Founded in 1993, Bape has had significant influence over the fashion streetwear scene, with some of its garments, namely the shark hoodie, globally recognised alongside influential names such as Lil Wayne and Pharrell Williams being avid supporters of the brand.

The collection will present the Crofton Puffer adorned with the ABC CAMO pattern, constructed from recycled feather-light-ripstop, which will aid warmth during the winter season.

The puffer is easy for on-the-go and comes in two colour-ways of monochromatic, grey and white or the classic camo colours of earthy green and brown hues.

As for the ABC CAMO Freestyle Vest, it’s versatile and can be used as a layering piece, keeping its wearer warm up until 5 degrees Celcius. A wardrobe necessity, the reimagined vest is ideal for any activity, from hiking to strolls around the city, and its contemporary aesthetic and functionality allow the piece to be stylish while still prioritising comfort.
