The studio’s practice embraces fashion as an artistic medium. For his debut collection, Spring/Summer 2025, Azzopardi introduces Hotel, a collection that draws from the stylised elegance of the 1970s. Imagined through the lens of cinematic nostalgia, the pieces conjure the mood of grand hotel lobbies — spaces of anonymity, reinvention, and fleeting glamour.
The collection balances tailored silhouettes with flowing forms, moving between gender-fluid suiting and eveningwear with an understated theatricality. Embellishments are used sparingly but effectively: embroidery and surface detailing offer moments of texture and light, without overwhelming the garments’ core structures. Styled with accessories from independent brands and vintage costumiers that echo Azzopardi’s penchant for spatial storytelling and immersive detail, the clothing comes alive.
