Filippa K release new campaign for AW23

THE SWEDISH luxury label Filippa K has delved into its archives for its latest autumn-winter 2023 collection, demonstrating a fondness of texture, comfort and elevated classic, while embracing a 1970s energy.

Inspired by Werner Herzog’s 1974 documentary: The Great Ecstasy of Woodcarver Steiner, the collection aims to exude an essence of freedom, leaning into the clothing of skiing and winter sports as a starting point to inform their entire Winter wardrobe.

Outfits inspired by ski jumpsuits of the 70s are paired with ski glasses especially designed for the new collection, boasting an earthy, monochromatic colour palette which marries both cold and warm tones together through seamless styling.

A recurring appreciation for fashion of the 1970s is reimagined through a more minimalist lens, with fabrics such as denim, corduroy and moleskin appearing through a multitude of garments, paired alongside waffle knits released from the brand’s archives.
