CHANEL showcased its behind-the-scenes backstage show preparation for their spring-summer 2024 collection which recently debuted during Paris Fashion Week.
With inspiration derived from the artistic essence inherent to the Villa Noailles and lavish flowers situated in the south of France, the thematics of vitality were clear throughout Chanel’s SS24 collection, dreamt up by Virginie Viard.

The show, which took place at the Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris, demonstrated a collection of relaxed yet sophisticated silhouettes showcasing the brand’s take on nonchalance and elegance.
In order to exaggerate the overall laid-back nature of the collection, the make-up was kept to a minimum leaving the models looking fresh with a simple face to mirror the casual elegance which sat at the root of the collection.

The make-up routine utilised Chanel’s beauty products including the Les Beiges Water-Fresh Complexion Touch, Le Correcteur De Chanel and Poudre Universelle Libre for the base, and a touch of Joues Contraste 64 Pink Explosion on the cheeks, temples and forehead to create a fresh and healthy glow.

The eyebrows were filled in using the Stylo Sourcils Waterproof brow pen and then layered with the Gel Sourcils in the shade Transparent to add depth. As for the eyes, the Stylo Ombre and Contour in 12 Contour Clair or 04 Electric Brown were smudged outside the lower lash line giving the eyes some added definition.
A touch of sienna pink button from the palette Les 4 Ombres Byzance 308 Parure Imperiale was added to the crease of the eye, giving it a wash of colour yet keeping the look clean.
