Gucci release limited edition timepiece capsule in celebration of the Lunar New Year

ANTICIPATING both the upcoming Lunar New Year and the arrival of the spring season, Gucci celebrate the looming festivities with an exclusive collaboration which champions a playful sense of colour and creativity suited to those with an individualistic flare.

Immortalising the Year of the Rabbit on a series of timepieces, the Italian Maison have experimented with a series of complex designs, from spray painted motifs to geometric patterns. Though in celebration of the upcoming festivities, and arrival of the Lunar New Year, no watch is too exclusive it cannot be enjoyed all year round, and for years to come.

From the more obvious interpretations seen on the hero spray-painted designs, to the concealed rabbit motifs hidden alongside G logo’s in a rhombille pattern, the capsule is distinctively fun, yet not one that separates it from the Maison’s own design codes.

Brought to life by a colourful campaign photographed by Max Siedentopf, the limited edition collection is now available in stores and online worldwide, just in time for the celebrations on the 22nd January.
