USHERING in the autumn season with excitement and innovation, Hermès has just released its new autumn-winter 2024 beauty collection.
Uniting Rouge Hermès, Ombres d’Hermès and Les Mains Hermès in a singular ensemble, the latest offering is inspired by the intensity of the colour blue and the sensuality of leather.
To start, the collection features a trio of Rouge Hermès lipsticks. Arriving in a lipstick case conceived by Pierre Hardy, each shade offers long-lasting wear and comfort. Additionally, for the first time, the lipstick appears with an ultra-matte finish, echoing the velvety texture of leather.
“A transparent finish illuminates the lips like a ray of sunshine, a matte finish gives them a more velvety look, and a sheer matte finish produces a ‘bitten lip’ effect,” explains Gregoris Pyrpylis, Creative Director of Hermès Beauty.
Beige Glacé is a bright, sunny beige, intertwined with iridescent shades of copper and pink. Meanwhile, Beige Doblis is warm, clay red and Rouge Nappa – the most vibrant of the trio – leaves a wine-tinted veil upon the lips.
Alongside the lipsticks is an Ombres d’Hermès palette titled Ombres Minérales. Encased in a white and gold brushed permabrass case, a quartet of eyeshadows designed by Pyrpylis lies await. The limited-edition palette looks to the tanning process of leather for inspiration. Natural, soft khaki tones are offset by an intense cobalt blue and shimmering gold for endless wearability.
“Blue can be used to intensify and give depth to the eyes, a depth comparable to that of the ocean itself,” says Pyrpylis.
Finally, the collection includes a duo of Les Mains Hermès nail enamels. The two shades are presented in the same object as the permanent collection and are composed of a formula of at least 71% ingredients of natural origin.
Bleu Agate, an intense mineral blue meets Vert Bronze, a deep, dense khaki with grey undertones. Mirroring the hues of the lipsticks and eye palette, the nail enamels tie together the Hermès autumn-winter 2024 look.
