PASSION permeates throughout Dries Van Noten’s AW21 womenswear collection in a flurry of eye-catching designs and intriguing gestures. It dances along a spectrum of extremes; from refined tailoring to loose-fitting silks, neutral colours to vibrant fuchsia, and fabric panels to flashing sequins – this collection truly highlights Noten’s incredible talent and versatility.
Filmed at The Red Room of the Single Theatre in Antwerp, by Caspar Sejersen, the models are freely flowing in their movements. Not only does the heavy base music, accompanied with a soft, melodic voice, carry the movement, but the clothes become centrepieces that lead the way.

The collection embodies a space where gender boundaries are surpassed and the masculine and feminine fuse. Oversized blazers are paired with knee-length shorts and stilettos while A-line dresses and skirts embrace the silhouette. Long wool coats also make a statement as they cover bare skin, offering an enigmatic element.
