Taking over the Ground floor of the flagship store at 8 Gran Via, Madrid, the Galeria Loewe is a stunning, multi-sensory dedication to Spains’s historic luxury fashion house. The gallery comprises eight areas, with each exploring a different aspect of Loewe’s 167 years of artisanal expertise.
At the entrance of the store the house’s signature handbag, the Amazona, is depicted in a steel sculpture by artist Jordi Diez. Inside the space a holographic video portrays the painstaking production process for the bag, in a film which blends tradition with innovative technology. Projected onto the walls are prints and designs from the house’s archives, whilst an interactive tree grows from the floor, inviting visitors to experience the brand’s relationship with fine leathers.
