Aesthetically the store is focused on clean, light, pastel palettes, evoking transparency and pure beauty. It’s Miami approached with rare subtlety, with a seashell-like staircase the standout feature.

While the palettes are classically easy on the eye, materials used for the stores interior appeal to more modern constitution. The key theme is juxtaposition, granting equal play to raw and refined textures – plaster alongside marble, concrete on brass, plywood with leather and resin against reclaimed wood.

Miami isn’t known for having an understated approach to anything, so Bottega Veneta’s dedication to buck the coastline’s irresistible chaos with a classically understated shoppers haven is a relative triumph. “Colour, calmness, and joy” indeed.
