FIRST introduced in the aftermath of World War II as the coiled Tubogas watch, Bulgari’s legendary Serpenti motif has evolved over the years to encompass an array of glittering styles, from bracelets to bags, all the while remaining the ultimate symbol of refinement and innovation.
Now, the Italian luxury jeweller has once again turned their attention to the iconic symbol, unveiling the new eco-conscious Serpenti Maxi Cabochon as the latest member of the snake family.

As part of the House’s commitment to shaping a more sustainable future, the Serpenti Maxi Cabochon is the first Bulgari bag to be realised with a comprehensive sustainable approach.
Available in two sizes, the bag has been constructed using recycled nylon stitching and quilted jade-green calf leather sourced from certified tanneries in compliance with the environmental audit protocol developed by the Leather Working Group — a non-profit membership organisation for stakeholders across the leather supply chain.

A golden chain handle and thick shoulder strap complete the design, allowing for versatile styling, while the jeweller’s signature snakehead closure comes crafted from lead-free metal and punctuated by en pendant degradé malachite inserts, creating a hypnotic scale of greens.
