WITH BRITISH festival season upon us, Burberry has taken charge with a campaign dedicated to the acts on stage and the identities in the crowd. Having spent the past few months reinforcing the slogan “It’s Always Burberry Weather”, there is no better understanding of the notion of ‘come rain or shine’ than the summer music scene here.

Capturing an array of talent that celebrates the unity of fashion and music, the star-studded line up includes Liam Gallagher, Goldie, Seungmin, Loyle Carner, Chy Cartier, John Glacier, Cara Delevingne, Alexa Chung, Lennon Gallagher, Molly Moorish-Gallagher and Gene Gallagher.

“Think of the campaign like a collage,” explains Chief Creative Officer, Daniel Lee. “Candid moments capturing off-duty fans and headline acts in between gigs”. Whilst the some of the industry’s most respected faces lead the line-up, its the clothes that look deep into the attitudes and codes of the 90s through to now that illustrate how the brand has remained an integral uniform to the masses.
“Burberry has always been a part of the fabric of the UK… you see it [Burberry Check] on the underside of a hat or the inside of a jacket. And then it starts to reverse itself” adds Goldie.

Come rain or shine, muddy fields or trodden grass, Burberry remains at the roots of the British festival scene.
