Burberry celebrates classicism with its star-studded SS24 campaign

CAPTURED by Tyrone Lebon, Burberry has just released its star-studded spring-summer 2024 campaign. Having previously visited the British Isles for its AW23 campaign, the British heritage brand has opted for a much more urban landscape.

Set on the streets of London, the new campaign features a variety of famed figures – including Bukayo Saka, Damon Albarn, Jessie Buckley, King Krule, Matthew Ball, Neneh Cherry, Ramla Ali, Jun Ji-Hyun and Rachel Weisz. Similarly, reputable models such as Amelie Steel, He Cong, Iris Law, Jourdan Dunn, Naomi Janumala, Rakim Janneh and Stevie Sims make an appearance in the brand’s latest imagery.

Daniel Lee – Burberry’s creative director – has always centred his work around the core values and heritage of the House. “Ultimately we want to design things that people want to wear,” Lee explained during a preview In September. “There can be a few moments of British eccentricity in the collections, but I see Burberry as quite grounded. Classicism has to be the foundation.”

The campaign exhibits the latest collection in all its glory. Showcasing pieces such as a yellow tartan car coat, exquisite handbags and cosy plaid scarves, the campaign taps into Burberry’s cosmopolitan customer base.

Available to view across Burberry’s social media platforms, it’s clear that the campaign ushers in the new season with grace, sensibility and sophistication.
