Burberry partners with OnSide to support disadvantaged youths amidst the cost of living crisis

MARKING the beginning of a long-standing partnership, the luxury British fashion house Burberry has joined forces with OnSide – one of five charities they will support this winter – with hopes to safeguard youth from deprived areas in light of the deteriorating cost of living crisis.

Donating to OnSide’s Network Hunger Appeal, Burberry will be able to provide 5000 hot meals from children in impoverished areas of the country when they attend an OnSide Youth Zone.

Youth Zones are safe spaces created by the British charity, which in reflection of the rising cost of living, will allow children access to food, warmth and community in what is certain to be an incredibly challenging winter: “‘We are incredibly grateful to Burberry for their generous support. At a time when families and communities are facing increased challenges,” mentions OnSide Chief Executive, Kathryn Morley.

With OnSide’s reputation of nurturing and empowering creativity and development in the children of today, their partnership with Burberry seems like a perfect fit, exposing them to one of the most referential fashion houses of all time with the potential of sparking new interests and passions.
