BURBERRY STREETS, a series of events, installations and exhibitions is set to launch on September 13th with the first celebration taking place at Norman’s – a North London café known for its delicious British cuisine.
The city takeover aims to exhibit Burberry’s adoration of London and all things to do with its British heritage.
Each event taking place will showcase one of the brand’s signature prints with an assortment of checks, florals and Burberry’s Equestrian Knight design being spotted throughout the city. Motifs from the house will be scattered throughout the urban landscape in order to build anticipation for the launch of Daniel Lee’s autumn-winter 2023 collection.
London’s black cabs will feature the newly designed rose print and the Equestrian Knight symbol will be seen carefully stencilled into pavements and parks to further the reach and influence of the city-wide celebration. Meanwhile, flags featuring the rose print will parade around London’s notorious Bond Street and the screens at Piccadilly Circus will be bathed in promotional videos from Lee’s AW23 campaign.
For those who build up an appetite during London Fashion Week, Norman’s food truck will be supplying eager customers with tasty treats on The Strand and around the Duke of York Square.
Burberry Streets serves as an enticing way to encourage the community to peruse Daniel Lee’s AW23 collection – which is now available in-store and online.
Speaking on the launch of Burberry Streets, Burberry’s CMO Rod Manley said: “We are so excited to see Daniel’s first collection arriving in-store and online. With our redesigned website, new brand signifiers across product and brands and the launch of our global Burberry Streets initiative here in our home market, we’re looking forward to sharing the new Burberry world with our clients.”
