How did you become a model and why?
I became a model at 16 after being scouted at Boardmasters Festival in Newquay. I was scouted by several agencies and I chose to go with Premier.

Have you always wanted to be a model?
I was quite oblivious to the fashion industry but it’s been a fun journey so far and I really enjoy being a model.

Who are your heroes in life and in modelling?
I’ve never had heroes as such. Although, that doesn’t mean that I don’t seek inspiration from others. There are a few people I look up to and I keep tabs on their style and what they do but it’s a personal thing.

What is your present state of mind?
Relaxed, composed and focused on my studies and keeping in shape and healthy.

What is your idea of happiness?
It definitely comes from your way of thinking and keeping a positive outlook on everything.

How would you like to be perceived by others?
I want others to perceive me as I perceive myself.

If you were not a model, what would you be?
Most likely, a fully qualified carpenter. Rather different to modelling, no?

What was the best advice you’ve ever been given and who gave it to you?
A friend once said “just keep doing you”. I really liked that and I took it to heart. It’s good to be authentic.

What do you miss most when you’re travelling?
Actually, when I travel I really enjoy meeting new and interesting people and being able to be in fun and amazing places. I do miss my friends and family but I’m never away for that long.

What is your favourite song or songs to walk to?
I’m a huge fan of relaxed/chilled music but I usually just click shuffle and go.

What would you say is the biggest myth or misperception about being a model?
A lot of people say it’s an easy job but that is the biggest myth. It’s hard work (not that I’m complaining!) and what I love about it the most is that you get what you put into it.

What is your opinion of the fashion and modelling industries?
I think the industries are incredible and give people amazing opportunities that they wouldn’t necessarily be able to get.
