Glass Presents The Power of Play – a Beauty Editorial by Nadia Ryder

The Power of Play is a beauty story inspired by the boundless imagination of children, their fearless relationship with colour, their curiosity, and their joyful lack of inhibition. This shoot celebrates creativity in its purest form: play.

By inviting makeup artists Marie Bruce and Celia Evans to collaborate with their own children, Sidney Douglas, aged 6, and Marni Lee, aged 5, respectively, we explore the intersection of professional artistry and childlike wonder. The children become the lead creatives, their small hands guiding the brush, while their mothers gently direct and support, translating the imaginative world of a child into expressive, joyful beauty looks.
