Glass reviews Adaptology’s Red Avert Toner and Hydro Pump Booster Serum

WITH a mission to help people learn about their skin concerns and make a shift to improve its health, British skincare brand Adaptology is a targeted range of adaptogenic skincare solutions to adapt the skin’s natural biology to withstand the pressures of modern living.

Adaptology skincare utilises ingredients from the ends of the earth: adaptogenic plants which have evolved to thrive in the severities of nature such as deserts, oceans, rainforests, arctic and high altitudes, subsequently strengthening the skins protective barrier.

As pollution, chemicals, radiation and environmental forces damage the skin’s surface on a daily basis, Adaptology products aim to provide an antidote to modern living.

Adaptology Red Avert toner

Red Avert Toner is £28 at Adaptology

Following the glowing reviews for its Red Avert Cleanser and serum, Adaptology has added to its line – an anti-redness rescuer for those suffering from persistent rosacea – the Red Avert Toner.

The product is helfpfully encased in a violet-toned miron glass bottle to block all visible light from degrading the liquid inside, preserving the quality and potency of the bio-correcting ingredients found throughout the Red Avert range.

I like to spray the Red Avert Toner liberally on my freshly cleansed skin, removing the excess liquid with a cotton pad. As a longterm sufferer of rosacea since my adolescence, I have discovered very few products that can halt my rosacea’s indestructible trajectory across my jaw bone and cheeks – until coming across the Red Avert Toner.

The toner is composed of northern truffle, a neural balm that reduces the visibility of irritation and redness, along with prickly pear cactus extract to hydrate the skin and calm any inflammation.

After several uses, the toner had visibly minimised my sensitive rosacea and hyper-pigmentation, balancing my skin tone and soaking the skin in a hydrating veneer.

Adaptology Hydro Pump serum

Hydro Pump Booster Serum is £40 at Adaptology

Don’t be deceived by the Hydro Pump Booster’s tiny bottle, this petite jewel of hydration adds a pincer-sharp punch to the skincare routine. Infused with a delicate, organic rosewater fragrance, the serum is comprised of ample amounts of Hyaluronic Acid to rehydrate and plump the skin’s surface.

I like to press the gel into freshly cleansed and toned skin with my hands, or, alternatively, mix a few drops with my moisturiser to deeply hydrate the skin.

This water-based adaptogen gel eliminated all my dehydration lines, finely boosting cell metabolism and imbuing my cracked, dull skin with a lustrous glow.
