Glass reviews Barbara Sturm’s Better B Niacinamide serum

DR BARBARA Sturm’s “molecular cosmetics“ combine a healing approach to skincare with scientifically advanced ingredients. Made in Germany it has the no-nonsense approach you might expect; no perfume, well-researched, effective ingredients, pleasingly functional packaging with a minimum of plastic.

I’ve been using the Better B Niacinamide serum for two weeks now, beginning with the recommended application on face, neck and décolletage twice a day.

Within days some four week-old blemishes on my chest had cleared up and most excitingly the open pores and blackheads I’ve had since adolescence on my nose and chin have improved significantly.

After another couple of days I felt my cheeks, which can be dry, needed a rest but I have continued to use Better B applying judiciously to my T-zone once a day and every few days to the rest of my face.  I’ve had a couple of persistent whiteheads in the last couple of years and can’t imagine them returning as my skin seems texturally different; close-pored and strong and even, dare I say it – dewy!

I’ve had persistent whiteheads in the last couple of years and can’t imagine them returning as my skin seems texturally different; dewy, close-pored and strong – a quality I normally only achieve on a long, restful holiday outside London.

For this effect it’s well worth the price and will be a permanent part of my cosmetic routine from now on.
