Glass tries Eclat Skin London’s Hyaluronic Acid Lip Serum

MANY of us will have discovered the hard way, that lippy and face masks can be a hazardous combination, with the removal of the mask revealing a result that looks like a four-year-old child applied your lipstick, while you were passed out.

Still, this is not excuse not to try, and in fact, the mask is a good opportunity to give your lips a treatment, that, should you wish, can go undetected. I prefer treatments that let you pout with pride, adding a lustre as a top coat or as a conditioning primer.

Eclat hyaluronic acid lip serum

Eclat Skin London Hyaluronic Acid Lip Serum

Eclat Skin has released a trio of luxurious lip serums, containing either vitamin C, collagen, or hyaluronic acid in a base of shea butter, jojoba and seed oils. All have a hydrating effect and a very subtle plumping action.

I have been using the hyaluronic acid serum for a week, just on its own, day and night, mask or no mask, and my lips feel smooth, slick and every so slightly plumper, as if I have had a bit of very subtle filler treatment.

The mild cocoa like flavour of the shea butter adds the sensation of having a taste of cake – without the calories. I add a slick of colour for Zoom calls, which makes it look like I’ve made a big effort, effortlessly.
