Prada has once again opted to depict their newest collection as envisioned by photographer and long-time collaborated Steven Meisel for a sensible Resort ‘15 ad campaign this week. Top Prada-esque models Adrienne Jugler, Ine Neefs and Moya Mardy populate this resort seasons setting, one of a secret stately garden, overgrown in contrast with the neat formals from the collection which are seen through an evocative monochromatic filter.
The subtle 1970s influence in the chic softly flared menswear cuts establishes a demure dynamic with Meisel’s traditional imagery which sees the faces of Prada’s future placed attractively awkward in the deserted sun-speckled grounds. This is a formidable formula for resort; one which illustrates a small handful of looks from 2015’s offering that sum up the collection most succinctly. These are the looks that will transition between seasons with ease in a feminine study of wardrobe classics that will keep Prada on top form into the foreseeable future.
