The Great Scotland Yard Hotel launches Síbín – a hidden whisky bar


GREAT SCOTLAND YARD hotel, situated near Trafalgar Square, has always invited its guests to the height of luxury and hospitality. With the opening of their new whisky bar, Síbín, the five-star hotel combines these elements with a touch of secrecy. Guests can discover the sophisticated whisky bar hidden in plain sight behind a secret door.

Entering the veiled bar, guests are presented with the world of whisky through the lens of the Great Scotland Yard hotel which focused on a carefully curated and ever-changing menu that gives the bar a classic yet innovative flair. The menu will also feature a selection of traditional and modern whisky cocktails.

Síbín means illicit whisky in Irish, referring to the illicit clubs which sold alcoholic drinks without a licence. Scotland Yard Hotel’s Síbín offers visitors a chill out lounge with specialist whiskies yet an elegant space for evening drinks. Guests can enjoy a variety of light bites and snacks which will pair perfectly with the various woody and smoky flavours of the whiskies.
