INDULGING in Christmas festivities, The Langham has announced that it is partnering with Liberty London to turn the hotel into a winter wonderland.
From the 8th of November, The Langham will be flooded with various decorative items from the iconic luxury retailer alongside various exclusive festive hotel packages.
Going all out for Christmas this year, The Langham is offering its visitors a generous assortment of merry experiences. From Caribbean-inspired feasts to seasonal masterclasses, we’re giving you The Langham Christmas rundown.
Christmas at The Langham
With the hotel being renowned for its exquisite dining opportunities, it is no surprise that The Good Front Room – one of The Langham’s prestigious restaurants – will be offering a festive spin on iconic Caribbean dishes.
Guests will be able to enjoy spiced plantain soup, Barbacoa turkey ‘brown stew’ with chestnut stuffing; and dark rum and raising pork belly. Additionally, for the first time ever, guests will be able to book an exclusive private dining option which comes with signed menus from Chef Dom Taylor and special appearances from the chef himself.
Furthermore, Dom Taylor has carefully crafted a Caribbean celebration menu to celebrate the New Year. With scallops, pimento, coconut mousse and mango salsa, lobster, dark rum bisque, pineapple and tomato chow, wagyu beef and breadfruit appearing on the menu, there is no better way to welcome the New Year.
Moving on from The Good Front Room, another unmissable dining experience is on offer. The Langham has just unveiled a new afternoon tea in partnership with Liberty. Having served afternoon tea since its opening in 1865, The Langham perpetuates this tradition and has created a special menu for the occasion.
With savoury treats on offer such as the Liberty jewelled egg bauble with turkey, potato, bacon and cranberries, it’s clear that the menu will be a treat for anyone’s taste buds. Additionally, sweet counterparts including Shine Like a Bauble with vanilla cream, blackcurrant compote and almond sable will be available.
Afternoon Tea in partnership with Liberty is available daily, 12:30 – 17:00, £95 or £110 per person with a glass of Taittinger Champagne, £50 per person for children aged 3-12.
Having always been renowned for its culinary expertise, The Langham is also providing Christmas masterclasses at Sauce. Sauce is The Langham’s state-of-the-art cookery school and will teach guests how to create their own chef d’œuvres. With a choice of classes centred around festive edible gifts, cookie baking, wreath-making or gingerbread house decorating, there is definitely no shortage of options.

If culinary masterclasses are not your thing, The Wigmore – the contemporary British pub that runs alongside The Langham – is also offering some Christmas-related dishes. Country pork terrace with apple chutney, Christmas pie ‘with all the trimmings’, spiced cranberry chutney and mash are all exhibited on the festive menu.
Meanwhile, for those who prefer a more casual option, a XXL stovetop three cheese and mustard toastie makes the perfect, wintery treat. Guests are also invited to spend Christmas Day at The Wigmore. A four-course lunch including a glass of Christmas punch serves as an ideal dining experience for families.

Christmas Lunch at The Langham
Alternatively, guests can also spend Christmas Day in Palm Court. Palm Court has just revealed a five-course lunch menu with indulgent dishes such as Scottish scallops with Oscietra caviar, Roasted turkey crown, Halibut with leek fondue and more being presented. Subverting traditional festive desserts, Christmas pudding ice cream is offered alongside warm mince pies and brandy sauce.
Christmas Day lunch: 5 courses for £290 per person, 3 courses for £175 per person.

Finally, for New Year’s, one can also visit Artesian – The Langham’s world-renowned cocktail bar. Enjoying a live DJ set alongside various light canapés and refreshing cocktails, the New Year is certain to be enjoyable.
NYE at Artesian: £125 per person from 9pm.
The Langham is offering a selection of packages for visitors over the holiday period. The WOW package is for guests arriving on the 23rd or 24th of December. Visitors can reside in a room with a fully decked-out Liberty Christmas Tree – festive stockings are also provided.
Guests will also receive a 15% discount voucher for Liberty, or alternatively, they can unwind with a Chaun Spa Signature massage. A welcome bottle of Champagne, drinks in Artesian and Christmas Day lunch Is also included in the WOW package. Â
Rates for The WOW package: a three-night stay at The Langham from £2,520 based on two sharing an Executive room or above. Rates for The Festive package: £570 based on two sharing a classic room.
