CHOO CHOO, a new luxury Michelin-starred chef dinner has reached its destination, as it arrives at The British Pullman, A Belmond Train from April.
This culinary adventure, entitled, ‘the Celebrity Chef Dinner Series’ will see four journeys, each with a menu curated specially by some of the UK’s most distinguished Michelin-starred chefs, including Andrew Wong, Atul Kochhar, Phil Howard, and Theo Randall.

Expect a celebration of Britain’s diverse cuisine, and this can be seen through a seasonal, five-course tasting menu, designed by each chef, and, of course, will be complemented by a champagne reception and sommelier-selected fine wines for a thoroughly delicious experience – and topped off by a personal visit from said chef.

On celebrating this culinary fusion, British Pullman General Manager, Craig Moffat says, “We are excited to launch a new chef series which showcases the various facets of the British culinary landscape on the British Pullman, with internationally acclaimed chefs expanding its presence into new destinations and new fusion cuisines. He continues, “The series is a true celebration of the fine dining experience that has made the train a cherished icon, seamlessly blending its rich heritage with the dynamic evolution of modern British cuisine.”

Debuting with Chef Theo Randall, who is loved for his rustic-yet-refined take on Italian cuisine, he brings the taste of the Mediterranean to the British Pullman’s tables. He says: “Having had the pleasure of cooking on the Pullman train, I am looking forward to returning. Being surrounded by the history and amazing stories from the likes of Laurence Olivier and Oscar Wilde, the thought of cooking in the British Pullman kitchen and stepping back in time to take in the sheer craftsmanship of these handmade antique carriages is an incredible feeling. I will be cooking a unique menu which will feature the best springtime seasonal ingredients. This is going to be a very special day! I can’t wait.”

Following on from Theo will be the two-Michelin-starred chef, Phil Howard showcasing his French-inspired dishes on the 22nd May; Andrew Wong takes on Chinese cuisine, combing heritage fare with a modern flair on the 13th June; and for the final departure on 24th October, Atul Kochhar will showcase new wave British Indian cuisine, after all, he was the chef patron of the first Indian restaurant to gain a Michelin star.
And if it couldn’t get any better, these dishes are set against the train’s glamorous Art Deco aesthetic, and the beautiful British countryside beyond.
