RICCARDO Tisci’s final holiday campaign for Burberry is a celebration of irreverence, encapsulating the excitement and anticipation many of us feel in the run up to the festive period all while perfectly showcasing some of the season’s best ready-to-wear.
Making their Burberry debut, Shakira and Burna Boy star as heralds of the holiday season. Shot by TORSO, the short film is a fast-paced exploration of the winter collection, leaning into comedy as much as it does glamour – perhaps a perfect metaphor for the holiday season.

The ethereal Burna Boy – complete with wings – drags a Santa sack through a wonderland of the famous nova check, wearing a matching padded jacket and backpack as a Burberry teddy falls into his hands. Shakira on the other hand storms down a series of tables laid with silverware, the unusual setting seemingly transforming into a runway and we the audience.
The campaign shows the perfect mix of everyday garments alongside extravagant evening wear. For instance a belted cotton garbadine trench skirt is shown alongside tulle gowns embroidered in crystal, while accessories and bags become animated and fly around the models getting us in the mood for a fashion fuelled holiday ahead.
