PAYING TRIBUTE to its olfactory traditions, Dior Beauty has introduced the iconic La Collection Privée Christian Dior Esprit De Parfum.
Having previously crafted some of Dior’s most famed fragrances, Francis Kurkdjian – Dior’s Perfume Creation Director – has now reinterpreted Gris Dior, Lucky, Rouge Trafalgar, Ambre Nuit and Oud Ispahan for the latest ensemble.
“La Collection Privée Christian Dior Esprit De Parfum are an exercise in style that reflects the couture spirit of the House, as well as my vision of luxury and of Dior creativity. I streamlined the materials to push them to the far reaches of their intended effects and boldly disrupt them. I wanted these compositions to affirm a genuine artistic position, with powerful fragrance trails,” adds Kurkdjian.
To start, Gris Dior grows more concise. Its chypre accord carefully intertwines with Atlas cedar, Indonesian patchouli, amber facet and Bulgarian rose for a soft yet sensual scent.
Meanwhile, Lucky is a nod to Christian Dior’s superstitious nature. In particular, its floral notes are heightened with Lily of the Valley working perfectly in tandem with a subtle leather bottom note.
Similarly, Rouge Trafalgar’s luxurious ingredients come to life In its new, fiery formulation. Pink peppercorn mingles with delicate Turkish and Bulgarian rose essences for a tender yet radiant outcome.
For those seeking even more fire, Ambre Nuit’s cinnamon and cardamom bring warmth and richness to the signature scent. Softened with a gentle amber accord, the perfume melts into the skin for long-lasting intensity.
Last but not least, Oud Ispahan takes its wearer on a journey through the Orient, tapping into the woody nuances of clove and cumin. Taking on a stunning sophistication, honeyed rose and oud join forces to offer effortless elegance and opulence.
