Kent & Curwen AW19 advertising campaign presents a modern take on British heritage

A CONTEMPORARY consideration of British heritage, Kent & Curwen’s AW19 campaign reveals a more sartorial image of modern lifestyle.

Kent & Curwen AW19 Campaign

Created in 1926, Kent & Curwen maintains its reputation for conservative styling and classic design – imagine regatta college stripes, cricket-wear and rugby knots. This latest campaign is shot by Ronan Gallagher in the London historical Two Temple Place, marking the brand’s four year anniversary under its Creative Director Daniel Kearns. Paying homage to British sporting and university-style, Kearns showcases his ability to intertwine traditional pieces with contemporary-wear.

An eclectic range of sweatshirts, slacks, tailored-pieces, and baker-boy hats, the collection seamlessly blends relaxed street-wear with regimental British tradition. Through its reinvention of classic pieces, Kearns is able to showcase a new facet of British heritage in its AW19 collection.

Presenting an introduction into ‘menswear for women’, the Kent & Curwen campaign features Hannah Shakespeare, model and one of the 50 “game-changers” who are shaking up the worlds of fashion, politics, and culture. Together with Finnlay Davis and Takuya, this young mix of models reflects the inclusive dialog the historical brand is engaged into.

Think of the collection as old school clothing, with new rules.
