FOLLOWING the semi-finals held on the 4th and 5th of March, LVMH has announced the jury for the final of the €400,000 LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers.
The final will take place on Wednesday 3 September, at the Fondation Louis Vuitton. The jury will select a winner from eight finalists, who will receive a €400,000 endowment and a tailored mentorship with LVMH teams.
Additionally, the winners of the Karl Lagerfeld Prize and the Savoir-Faire Prize will each be awarded €200,000 and benefit from a one-year mentorship by Pascale Lepoivre, CEO of Loewe. Furthermore three fashion school graduates and their schools will each be awarded €10,000, along with the opportunity to join the design studio of one of the group’s houses.

It has also been announced that Sarah Burton will join the jury for the first time this year. She becomes the 12th member of an already star-studded panel, joining Jonathan Anderson, Nicolas Ghesquière, Marc Jacobs, Stella McCartney, Phoebe Philo, Silvia Venturini Fendi, Pharrell Williams, Nigo, Delphine Arnault, Jean-Paul Claverie, and Sidney Toledano.
If you’re not familiar, these individuals will select a winner from the eight finalists: AlainPaul, All-In, Francesco Murano, Soshiotsuki, Steve O. Smith, Tolu Coker, Torisheju, and Zomer.
With a distinguished jury and a strong lineup of emerging designers, this year’s LVMH Prize final will highlight thoughtful creativity and innovation, contributing to the ongoing evolution of contemporary fashion.
