With its pyramid studs, engraved with diamonds and pearls, cased in an affluent, courtly palette of rich crimsons, deep greens and regal purple, its indicative of King Henry VIII and Elizabeth l influence. Yet, the use of plush materials such a velvet and moiré with gold-threaded Tissu Viennois reciprocates the art of Tudor tapestry.
