I THINK it’s safe to say that we’ve been lucky with the weather here in the UK over lockdown, with many of us being able to develop a semi-impressive tan, but perhaps the garden-turned-luau and make-shift cocktails are no longer fulfilling our summer holiday needs.
With travel restrictions slowly easing, a holiday abroad is looking to be a number one priority on many of our post-lockdown to-do lists — anything to get us away from staring at our poor attempt of a homemade bar.
This June, you can venture into the life of luxury with Dior – who hasn’t hesitated on their own vacay plans – and set sail to the sunny coasts of Italy. Paying an ode to la dolce vita, Maria Grazia Chiuri’s capsule summer collection, titled Dioriviera, arrived in special pop-up stores across the Italian riviera.
After commencing at Forte dei Marmi two-weeks ago, the luxury design house now docks at Capri, in the pop-up store which is set up at Il Riccio Restaurant & Beach Club (part of the Capri Palace Jumeirah), which opened last weekend.

Situated on a cliff and accessible by sea with a dedicated boat-service, the beach paradise overlooks the azure waters of the Mediterranean Sea.
A place where one can lose themselves in a wave of idyllic décor, combining a triumph of bamboo and carnage, and can relax in the lounge-areas complimented by blue-tinted toile de Jouy motif walls and bayadère-striped cushions, parasols and personalised beach cabins.
The pop-up shops acts as a testament to the irresistible lure of sun-drenched escapism and an evocation of ‘the good life’.

Besides the exclusive Dior Maison objects lays the awaited Dioriviera capsule — a collection of sailor tops, emblem t-shirts and anoraks and classic summer accessories — which will be shoppable alongside the iconic Dior Book Tote, Saddle and Diorcamp bags which have been revisited with the motifs of the Pietro Ruffo-inspired Dior Around the World line.
