MICHEL ROUX JR’s famous fine-dining restaurant Le Gavroche will be taking bookings once again from July 7 onwards. The two-Michelin-starred restaurant in London’s Mayfair will implement an extensive Covid-19 health and safety programme in order to provide every reassurance for the comfort and wellbeing of its guests.
“It’s a challenge we’re happy to take on,” said Michel Roux Jr. “There will be changes, but each of these is designed to make sure that our guests’ safety as well as that of our kitchen and front of house staff, is paramount. We’ve done a lot of work over the past few weeks getting things ready, and we’d like to let our diners know what they can expect on their next visit.”

In order to assure guests’ safety, Le Gavroche’s staff will take daily health and temperature checks on arrival and kitchen staff will wear masks at all times. The front of house team will also be following the Government’s guidelines. For further reassurance, the restaurant’s air conditioning is not recycled air but fresh air drawn from the outside, coupled with a powerful extract to ensure guests’ safety and comfort.

For guests’ dining and drinking pleasure, the restaurant will have two tasting menus on offer, including an eight-course available for lunch or dinner (with or without matched wines) and a four-course tasting menu available in the evening (with or without wines). There will also be a smaller menu of individually priced dishes from which you may choose three or more courses. Le Gavroche will also continue to offer its famous set price lunch menu throughout the week.
