ITALIAN fashion house Tod’s has announced an upcoming collaboration with Japanese footwear and accessories brand Hender Scheme on an exclusive capsule collection.
Ryo Kashiwazaki, founder of Hender Scheme, has worked closely with Tod’s Creative Director Walter Chiapponi to combine Tod’s illustrious legacy with Hender Scheme’s contemporary approach dubbed New Craft.

The collaborative capsule falls under the Tod’s Factory, a creative lab made to realize unconventional projects in collaboration with artists and designers. For the project, Tod’s Factory has provided Hender Scheme access to its iconography and Italian artisanal know-how, which the label has used to create a unique collection of products with undisturbed creative freedom.
Set to debut in September, the capsule collection will launch with an event during Milan Fashion Week, and will be available immediately after in select Tod’s boutiques, and online.
