MODEL-of-the-moment, Brazilian-New Zealand Angelina Kendall has risen another rank of her already stellar career adding the label muse to her repertoire. Perfume brand narciso rodriguez has named her as the new face of their beloved for her intense fragrance that showcases a delicate blend of vanilla, musk and white flowers.
Bringing a bolder version of the fragrance to light, the new formula adds a fruitier layer to the scent with a touch of Calabrian bergamot and peach. Now housed in a deep pink bottle, for her intense is the summer olfactory must-have of 2025.

How does it feel to be the muse of the new narciso rodriguez fragrance?
When I got the confirmation, I honestly couldn’t believe it! I was so excited to see what Narciso had planned for the next chapter of the iconic for her fragrance. Once I was on set, it all sunk in how special this project really was. To be the muse of this fragrance, and to portray this woman who is so empowered by her femininity, really allows me to connect to my inner self. It’s truly so exciting to be involved in such an iconic celebration of female empowerment.
What was it like to meet Narciso Rodriguez?
I was sweating, to say the least – literally soaking because of nerves! Little did I know, I needn’t have been so nervous, as almost instantly I noted how sweet and softly spoken he was. Narciso has this calming presence to him, which made it easy for me to connect with him and to share my obvious excitement about this project.
How would you describe the fragrance in three words?
Bold, seductive and raw.

for her eau de parfum intense is a more intense reimagining of the iconic for her fragrance. What does ‘intensity’ mean to you?
Intensity to me is something that comes with transition. It’s usually a short and pivotal moment in time, something impossible to ignore. A kiss, the loss of a job or the ups and downs of relationships. Both good and bad, intensity is a by-product of change and essential to fulfil human desire.
for her has always celebrated modern femininity. What do you think femininity means today, and how do you think it’s evolving?
To me, femininity means harnessing your most authentic self. It’s living life unapologetically and embracing all parts of yourself, even your imperfections. Femininity used to be centred around being soft or submissive, but now it’s evolved to be about celebrating and showcasing the best attributes of yourself as a woman.

How do you describe the for her woman?
The for her woman is ambitious and daring. Her presence in a room is completely intoxicating. Her ability to be so truly herself radiates a confidence and reassuring air to those around her.
The new fragrance is all about having the confidence to reveal your inner self. What does that mean to you and how do you apply it in your daily life?
I’ve always stripped myself down to quite an authentic way of living. I think it’s the best way to truly enjoy experiences and the relationships you make with others. In saying that, like everyone, I have some things I prefer to keep to myself. To me, this authenticity means being vulnerable enough to seek those who truly want to be around you – for you, and nothing else. It’s a scary thing to be so raw with others, but I try to apply it to my daily life by asking myself whether I’m doing things for my own validation or for that of others.

for her is a woody, floral musk fragrance. What does musk evoke for you?
The signature musk notes of the for her fragrance create a bold presence against the subtle essence of the white florals. The musk is such a distinctive component of this fragrance – a striking note that follows my presence. It allows me to take charge in a room, feeling confident and seen.
This fragrance is about the different layers of your authentic true self. Can you tell us a bit about your own different ‘layers’?
Everyone has different layers. It’s important to have these layers, so you can protect your energy from those who might not care to understand you. I think I have four key layers. The first two present themselves at work or social gatherings. These draw on the super-outgoing, chatty, friendly and light side of my nature. They’re like my outer layers. The next layer reveals itself as you get to know me.
My immediate friends and family see this layer, where I’m mischievous and a bit snarky, pushing the boundaries since I know it’ll be recognised as teasing affection. The last layer is the one that holds all my values, as well as my worries. This layer only manifests itself when I’m alone or with those I feel most comfortable and connected to, revealing my most authentic self.

Tell us about the campaign shoot. What was the direction and story for the campaign?
The campaign shoot follows a woman reflecting on her past experiences. She’s so engrossed by this that she begins to fantasise and explore herself. The story is left to the audience’s interpretation as she does this not so much sensually, but more emotionally. She explores her physicality, wandering almost dream-like through her home, as if she’s never truly noticed her beauty before that moment, or seen her true self. It’s about revisiting yourself and discovering this side that allows your authenticity to shine through – about being confident and celebrating your essence, your femininity.
What was the most challenging part of the campaign? And what was the highlight?
The most challenging part was to faithfully portray the for her woman. I really wanted to encapsulate everything that she represents and for this to translate seamlessly throughout the images and film. Although this was challenging, I had such a blast on set and I think that every component – from the lighting and styling, to hair, make-up and even sound – came together to create something really special. The highlight for me was definitely viewing the final material which I couldn’t be more proud of or excited to share.
