THE HISTORICAL landmark that is New York’s The Fifth Avenue Hotel has been superbly restored by new owner Alex Ohebshalom and Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, set to open Spring 2023.
One of Manhattan’s finest prized possessions has undergone a seven-year refurb by a collection from some of the most creative minds across design, art, gastronomy, and hospitality. Set amongst the Empire State Building, Madison Square Park, and even the infamous Flower Market, the neighbourhood has now gained another star-studded attraction.

The grand destination was originally owned by Ms. Charlotte Goodridge, a leading figure in Manhattan’s Gilded Age society and was known for her special receptions and musicals in the late 19th century.

Inspiration for the design followed the legacy and lifestyle of those who once resided on Fifth Avenue, submerging visitors in an unmistakably residential vision of a wondrous old-world glamour. Featuring 153 guest rooms and suites, a sweeping marble lobby, bookcases that resemble traditional black lacquered Chinese cabinets and Murano glass chandeliers, The Fifth Avenue Hotel is the perfect fit for this iconic corner of the state.
