Burberry takes inspiration from its equestrian heritage for the Rocking Horse bag

RENOWNED British heritage brand Burberry has unveiled their new Rocking Horse bag in the latest campaign featuring brand ambassadors Bright, Jun Ji-Hyun and Tang Wei.

Alongside the brand ambassadors, actress Asami Mizukawa and models Lily Donaldson and Nora Attal pose with the new design. The campaign is pictured against simple backgrounds of red, blue and muted tones while the carrier is captured centre stage, gaining full attention.

The Rocking Horse design features two styles — a tote and a cross-body shoulder bag.

The curved Rocking Horse bag depicts the structure of a traditional childhood equestrian toy, paying homage to the brand’s long-established connection to horses and horse riding, with the rein-like straps adding to the theme.

Available in various colourways, the carrier arrives in shades of black, red, white, tan and olive green.

As for the fastening, the latest design is embellished with new Burberry branding depicting a lowercase ‘b’, which works as a circular fastening rotating into place.

Also featured in the campaign, the Tote is crafted from suede and is available in darker hues of deep brown and moss green, also ornamented with the new Burberry motif across its front.

The famed Burberry design code, The Equestrian Knight Design, is illustrated on the back of both bags, with the carrier interior featuring the renowned Burberry Check print adorning selected styles.
