Tattu London joins forces with Laurent-Perrier for its summer terrace

SINCE being established in 2015, Tattu has taken the UK culinary scene by storm. Lauded for its innovative Chinese cooking, the family-run business centres itself around providing holistically enjoyable dining experiences.

Named Tattu after the ancient eastern word Tatau – meaning ‘to make a mark’ – the restaurant has certainly cemented itself as one of London’s top Chinese restaurants.

Intertwining design with culinary prowess, each Tattu’s interior has been expertly designed to aesthetically combine the traditional East with the modern West. From commissioning internationally acclaimed artists to provide decadent decorations to awe-inspiring botanical arrangements, Tattu’s interiors have garnered much attention.

And Tattu London’s décor Is no exception. As the restaurant ushers in the Spring/Summer season with its new menu, the dining venue has been transformed into a flourishing forest of cherry blossoms. As we exit the elevator onto The Now Building’s rooftop, it’s evident that Tattu has pulled out all the stops for the new seasons.

Patchouli-scented incense fills the air and relaxed DJ-crafted music elevates the venue’s secretive atmosphere. Meanwhile, cherry blossom trees add bursts of colour to the restaurant’s sleek surroundings.

For those hoping to visit the restaurant during the warmer months, there is no better place to spend your time sipping delicious cocktails than its summer terrace. Having just launched its terrace on the 25th of April, the restaurant has partnered up with Laurent-Perrier (Rose) for the sky-high dining space.

Having been founded in 1812, Laurent-Perrier is an independent, family-owned Champagne House offering beverages of the highest quality. For Tattu’s summer terrace, the brand has joined forces with the restaurant to create a range of tasty floral cocktails.

In particular, the Oriental Leisure is a stand-out choice. Consisting of Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée Rosé, Bombay Gin, cucumber, thyme and blood orange, the drink is a beautiful mix of fresh and fruity flavours.

The terrace also offers a series of delectable bites. Famous for its tasty dim sum, Tattu has crafted 5 new versions of the savoury treat. For those who adore truffle, the truffle shiitake bao bun is a must-try. Carefully shaped to mirror the image of a mushroom, the bao bun is packed full of flavour and freshness. Meanwhile, the emperor’s wagyu beef puff with spring onion, sriracha and kimchi is guaranteed to leave you eager for more.

As the weather starts to turn and daylight hours start to peak, Tattu’s al fresco terrace offers an eclectic mix of small plates and large plates – perfect for sharing with friends and family. With panoramic views of London’s iconic skyline, Tattu is the ideal spot to soak up the summer heat.
