THE Australian skincare and fragrance brand Aesop has opened its first store in Bath, designed in collaboration with the artist James Plumb, in ode to the city’s history, sensibility and timeless elegance.

Set in a restored Georgian building, and renovated using bath stone tiles found in the basement of the terrace building, the store reinterprets Bath’s rich and lustrous history, transforming its distinct celebrated architecture into a chic contemporary space. Stripping the building back to its bare bones, Aesop makes way for the future whilst paying ode to the past through its architecture.

Customers can indulge in Aesop’s complete range of skin, hair and body products, alongside their trained consultants to assist them in their own unique individual needs. In time for Christmas, the Aesop store will also include their luxurious skincare kits, making the perfect gift for any beauty lover.
