With longer days and warmer climes on the horizon, Comme des Garçons revisits the Luxe eau de parfum range to bring us a lighter version – the new eau de toilettes Patchouli and Champaca, both ancient and sacred fragrances.
The former uses patchouli of the highest quality from Sumatra – a member of the mint family. Powerful yet timeless, the fragrance features white pepper and soy accord top notes, vanilla and oakmoss base with additional notes of cedarwood.
The latter is inspired by the mythical champaca flower found in the state of Orissa in India, a primitive flowering plant belonging to the Magnolia family. Chosen for its exoticism and ritualistic connotations, the flower is famously used in Hindu ceremonies and by Balinese dancers. Top notes of white pepper, angelica and cardamom are complemented with white musk and an iris base. As with all Comme des Garçons fragrances both scents are unisex and it needless to say, bold, unique and special.
