Dome Lounge
Before I sit down for dinner, I am greeted by Hotel Manager Biju Pappachan, who proudly shares with me the esteemed heritage of Threadneedles. The hotel is full of character with unique rooms shaped around the banks offices and the team also pride themselves on their relationship with their guests, as it has now become a much-loved place for both travellers and locals in the district.
Selection of dishes at Caviar House
Our table for the evening is in the beautiful Caviar House bar. As we browse the menu, we are welcomed with a Marilyn – a flute of Brut N.V champagne topped with a spoon of Prunier caviar, which perfectly compliments the chef’s selection of oysters and starts our culinary voyage of the sea.
The menu is certain to impress seafood lovers with starter courses including the Royal Shrimp Cocktail and the unforgettable creamy Burrata with sweet tomatoes, aged balsamic glaze, both topped with caviar.
Whole Grilled Lobster
For those hoping to visit this dining location, the Crab Burger and the best-selling Whole Grilled Lobster are not to be missed. Stunningly presented and remarkably buttery and succulent. After enjoying our mains, we couldn’t deny ourselves of dessert. Arriving at our table are the Caviar Ice Sicilian lemon sorbet with a vodka drizzle and the White Chocolate Cheesecake with raspberry coulis and caviar. Both melt in the mouth dishes.
Whilst we enjoy the last of our drinks, we bask in the ambience of the dome lounge, admiring the centrepiece of the hotel and the iconic glass dome, before turning in for a relaxing sleep in one of the hotel’s comfortable luxury suites.

Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned caviar connoisseur, you’ll be in safe hands at Caviar House.
